Woah I love the landscape! It looks gorgeous. Great color picking and eye for detail. I thought the two different styles wouldn't go that well together, but they do <3

Midomics responds:

Aaaaah thank you so much! <3

Lovely work! I like the atmosphere and the setting a lot. Cute character as well :)

Misterbongos responds:

Thank you, that means alot to hear. :)

You're absolutely amazing at color picking and lighting! May I ask if you choose the colors by eye? I love how you mashed up all these photos together into one piece. That's harder than it looks ;D

I'm super impressed~!

What art program do you use? My go to was Krita and now I'm trying out Clip Studio Paint.

kittenbombs1 responds:

Thanks. I use art studio pro on my ipad and photoshop on my computer, this was made with photoshop.

Woah such an amazing angle! Perfect for such an ambush. I can see you put a ton of effort into it and it definitely payed off <3

Syrupmasterz responds:

Thank you so much!
Took some real doing building some of my own reference in Source Filmmaker, but even afterwards, trying to warp perspective like that took a lot of tires.

But hey! The more you draw something wrong, the closer you get to figuring out how you want it to actually look. :P

That, and the advice from my buddies of course.

This is just too adorable! I love the style. It's "easy to look at". It's a traditional watercolors, right?

The composition is great, scenery is super detailed and you managed to create a feeling of depth to it <3 Fantastic work, I'm faving it!

That strawberry must weigh a lot when you're so tiny.

CTXB-CamBray responds:

You're correct! It is indeed watercolors and ink. Thank you for the kind review! I'm glad you like it!!

Wow this is so cool! White on black. Lovely work, it's a complex scene!
Did it feel really different for you to draw white on black?

Charlie57913 responds:

Thank you so much! >:3
It was certainly strange at the start, but once I had advanced a respectable proportion, both my hands and brain were used to it, making the experience more familiar.

Woah kuddos for putting in so much after. Some panels are absolutely gorgeous! I love your style and I love how you drew the shadow/lighting in the bushes. Big thumbs up~! Oh and welcome to newgrounds :D

Notatzu25 responds:

Thank you so much! Doing the lighting is one of my favorite parts of making the comic. It's nice to be here!

Absolutely gorgeous work! It's good to see a bigger version (couldn't zoom in before) of them <3

You put so many details in to Bellona's design. I'm impressed! The colors go really well together and it indeed seems like she's a top-notch dancer able to charm many people. Oh and on a side note, I like that you added texture to the background. Simple thing but definitely makes it looks extra neat

Phorgwizard responds:

Thank you so so much!! <3 <3 I was going for a sort of dusk/night sky theme with the colors of her outfit. I'm happy you think it looks good! :D

The paper texture is godsend. It gives just the right amount of grunge, I feel. Lemme know if you'd like to try it! <3

Great job! I can see you spent a lot of effort into this. I like the woody textures.
And hurray for drawing a landscape :D

Anarchius responds:

Thank you, however the landscape was also done in blender using the sculpting tools!

Great job! He looks so stern and I love how well you managed to draw the hair over his neck chain. It slowly disappears under all that thick fur.

r0ttweilerz responds:

thank you so much!!

I'm a hobby artist and it's fun to be part of a creative community. I'm challenging myself to go out of my comfort zone, with art and other areas of my life. I'm usually up for a chat so feel free to message me~!
